Are treatments covered by my auto insurance? 

If your auto policy is in Oregon, any medical treatment from the result of an accident is covered under your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) plan – typically a minimum of $15,000 and up to two years. Whether you were driving, biking, or a pedestrian, PIP insurance covers a wide variety of healthcare services.
The team at Portland Chiropractic can assist you in opening a new PIP claim and we can then bill the auto insurance directly.
If you have auto insurance from another state we will help you determine if you are covered. 

What are the types treatments after a car accident?

Though each individual treatment will be specific to each patient, the following are common treatments at Portland Chiropractic.

• ​Manual Therapy - adjustments/mobilizations of joints to, decrease pain, restore proper motion and improve function. 
• Soft Tissue Massage - which can include massage therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy to relieve muscle tension and pain
• Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation - including in office exercise and/or home exercise programs to help restore range of motion and strengthen injured tissues
• Electrical Stimulation
• Ultrasound Therapy
