Our Mission. Our mission is simple: We help people to lead healthier and stronger lives, regardless of whether you come to us injured or simply in need of tuning up.
People ask us what we specialize in, and the answer is never as detailed as the person asking. How can we limit ourselves to just one type of injury, one type of person, one type of style when the World is so incredibly diverse? What works well for one person may be horribly wrong for another, or even not effective for that same person on their next visit. So we remain more generalists in practice, with our overwhelming focus on using physical means to help all our patients. |
Common questions. What conditions/injuries do you treat?
Chiropractic treatments are commonly associated with neck and back pain, but we have experience treating the rest of the body as well. Below is a list of common complaints, but if you have any questions about a certain condition or injury and how we can help please contact us.
Do I need a referral from my medical doctor?
The short answer is no, but occasionally some private insurance companies do require a medical doctor’s referral for either chiropractic and/or massage therapy. Please contact us and we'll see if you need a referral from your medical doctor. What should I expect on my initial visit?
Your initial visit will be around an hour. In that time we'll perform a thorough health history, ask a lot of questions, see how you stand and walk, and of course perform any necessary orthopedic tests to seek out the cause of your pain or injury. After the examination we'll explain what we found and our recommendations for treatment. That treatment usually begins in the same visit. Each visit after will be around 20-30 minutes and we'll reassess regularly to assure we are on the right track to a full recovery. Please wear athletic clothing and/or loose fitting clothing to treatment. |
Do you accept motor vehicle accident and work injury cases?
We do accept auto injury and work injury cases. If you were injured in an MVA and/or a work place injury, please let us know when you’re booking your appointment. If involved in an MVA we require your claim and policy number, name of your adjuster and your auto insurance company. If you don't currently have a claim open we can assist you in opening a new claim. We then bill the auto insurance directly. Please be aware this process differs from state to state. If you are involved in a work place accident please bring your case number and adjuster's name to your initial treatment. If you don't currently have a case open we can assist you in opening a new claim (but only in Oregon at the moment.) Is chiropractic covered by my insurance?
Treatment is provided by our team of licensed chiropractors and massage therapists and is covered under most insurance companies. We'll handle all of your billing in house and we are in network with many private insurance companies. Please feel free to give us a call with any questions regarding insurance coverage. At this time we do not accept Medicare, Care Oregon, and Oregon Health Plan. |
